This post was updated on .
In here, we post our combined advice on surviving New Beginning. Inspired by a post on this power's page.

For instance:
1) You are never safe.
2) Do not let a stranger touch you, else you are doomed.

Using Josh's suggestions, I hereby declare this thread open!

All of those would definitely be useful, especially in the earlier parts of New Beginning.

And here's my bit of wisdom:

8. Until further notice, assume that all animals can talk, and potentially have some capability that can hurt/kill you.
9. Everybody is dangerous. Everybody.
10. People/animals/creatures/beings/objects that seem the least dangerous? Yeah. They're the most dangerous.
11. People are not friends unless they were your friend PRIOR to the events of New Beginning. Otherwise, they are not to be trusted unless you are more powerful than them.
12. Everything you thought was fake is real. Fairy tales, and other things that supposedly defy your puny, human "laws of physics"? All real.
13. No such thing as superstition. All bad luck charms and good luck charms work. Mock at your own peril.
14. "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong"? Yeah, Murphy was an optimist. Anything that can go wrong, in our puny human brains, is likely not nearly as wrong as things can go.
15. Never ask "What could possibly go wrong?" or "How could things possibly get worse?". You are guaranteed never to like the answer to either question.

16) Kick your opponent's ass quickly. They like to save the most powerful attack for last.
17) Never pick a fight with anyone who seems helpless.
17a) Or with someone who's new to town.
17b) And don't steal any woman's purse and run. That's just asking for it.
18) Glowing always comes before zapping.
19) Insure you have access to various useful metals and substances.
19a) Such as Cold Iron, Silver, Ash Wood, Moly, Shiny Things and String.

20. If it has a silly or cute name, avoid it at all costs. It's deadlier than it sounds.

Wooo! I've been referenced in the survival guide!

Occasionally when replying in new beginning, I forget my current form.

21) Number of powers does not necessarily equate to power level.
22) Beware of annoying the "trio"; WHD, Shadowulf1 and Myself. Marvelous Miscreant is an additional member, who joined later on (as is a fifth member, the name of whom I have forgotten).
23) Do not attempt to disfigure personal areas, such as New Atlantis, Celadon or other.
24) Yes everyone has superpowers now. No, they cannot stand up to the SPL members. No, not even as an army.
25) "Strength in numbers" may not apply; often ganging up increases the power level of a superhuman.
26) Do not fight in sunlight.
27) Do not fight in high temperatures.
28) Do not fight on earth, especially not barefoot.
29) Try to avoid negating powers; it may only make them stronger and angrier.

Jester, your erratic and chaotic nature goes without saying. Most of the time, in a good way.

True.............................

30. If you ever encounter a being which requests for your soul do not run, it can easily catch you and take it from you by force, instead give it the bottom of your shoe. You have fifty fifty chance it will laugh and leave without injuring you, or give you a gift, if it is a physical gift or favor, do not use it EVER.

31) Make sure you can survive for extended periods of time in the soul-sucking, empty void of space. Fights often end up happening there.

32) The price of a bet between superpowered beings is not be their souls.
33) Negating someone's powers without good reason, especially if valued, will bring along questioning and possible punishment from the rest of the group.

34a. If you meet a teenager, the odds are they are actually an all powerfull reality manipulating super being.

36. The world and all of it's inhabitants have been killed, vaporized, enslaved, transmogrified, or sucked into an alternate dimension at least six times. If you are lucky, you will not remember this, if you do remember this, do not mention it no one will believe you.

37) If there's a one in a thousand chance of something happening, it'll happen nine times out of ten.
